Another old paper from my time at Naropa University. This one is about The GI tract, the Stomach, Small Intestine, and Large Intestine and their role in digestion, as well as the various enzymes secreted during the process. Proteins, Carbohydrates, Lipids, and Micronutrients are covered. If you've ever been curious about what is happening inside on a mechanical and biochemical level when you eat this is a good paper to read. The science is easy to understand and accessible for any audience. Take a journey through your insides and gain awareness of the microscopic realms that contribute to our health and well being.
